Site Development consists of three primary activities. They include site engineering, site acquisition, and site construction.

Site Engineering
MagCom provides complete architectural, engineering, and surveying services. Whether the site is on raw land, a co-locate, or rooftop, we provide drawings, surveys, specifications, and calculations for zoning and building permit submittals and approvals.

As part of a turnkey package, MagCom provides geotechnical and environmental services when needed. Geotechnical services provide investigation and reporting necessary to provide recommendations on soil suitability regarding foundation design. Environmental engineering teams identify on-site and off-site potential sources of environmental concern.

Site Acquisition
Our teams perform preliminary research to identify potential candidates for the predetermined coverage area, as well as research local zoning laws, permitting, and zoning history. This includes site visits to verify and document conditions. Our site acquisition teams work closely with RF engineering teams to incorporate the information into the search ring development process. We manage this process through to completion of zoning and permitting information package, final site qualification, and site acquisition and lease negotiations.

Site Construction
Site construction ensures that sites are made base station or tower ready. The total scope of work includes site constructability analysis, engineering management, procurement of third party equipment (including towers, antennas, coaxial cable, emergency generators, shelters and distribution centers), construction, and construction management. Construction management services include contracting, contractor coordination, site inspection, and problem resolution, as well as quality, schedule, and budget control. MagCom offers a full line of construction services including tower erections, footings, co-locations, and rooftops.
